Pursuing Jesus

Centered on the Word

We believe God’s Word is inerrant, true, authoritative, and sufficient. For this reason, we are committed to proclaiming God’s Word every time we are together.

2 Timothy 3:16–17 “All scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.”

Focused on the Gospel

We believe we are all sinners, separated from God, and deserving of death. But God, in His great love for us, sent His son, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, to save us from our sins and restore our relationship with God the Father if we will repent and believe. We want everything we do - from the songs we sing on Sunday morning to movie nights in the gym - to be opportunities to reflect this good news and the transformation Christ has brought to our lives.

1 Corinthians 15:3–4 “For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures”

Driven by Discipleship

We believe that to obey Jesus’ command in Matthew 28 to “go and make disciples,” our mission must be to make disciples at all costs by evangelizing the lost and discipling the saved, remembering Jesus is with us. For this reason, we are committed to making disciples that make disciples who make disciples.

Colossians 1:28 “Him we proclaim, warning everyone and teaching everyone with all wisdom, that we may present everyone mature in Christ.”
