The Gospel

God created the heavens and the earth and all that is in them. He created man in His image for the purpose of glorifying Him and enjoying a perfect relationship with Him (Revelation 4:11).

However, we don’t enjoy this relationship because our sin separates us from God, who is Holy and Perfect. The penalty for sin is death. Everyone who sins is deserving of death in Hell apart from God for eternity (Romans 3:23).

But God, in His great love for us, made a way for our relationship with Him to be restored. While we were still sinners, God sent His only Son Jesus to live a perfect life and pay the price that our sin deserves (Romans 5:8).

Jesus willingly gave up His life for us. He was crucified on a cross, taking the punishment that we deserve on Himself, making a way for us to be saved and our sins forgiven (2 Corinthians 5:21).

After His death on the cross, Jesus was buried in a tomb. On the third day, He rose from the grave, conquering sin and death (1 Corinthians 15:3–4).

Salvation is available only through faith in Jesus Christ. If you believe this good news, turn away from your sin and trust in Jesus as your Lord and Savior. Only then will you be saved, your sins forgiven, and your relationship with God restored. (Mark 1:15)
