I have had the blessing of partnering with parents in ministering to their kids here at FCC since 2016. Children’s ministry is so dear to me because Christ captured my heart at a young age. My parents committed to raising us in church, and they were very intentional about discipling us at home. I claimed Christ as my Lord and Savior at an elementary church camp.

I was able to pursue a call into ministry at Lambuth University and was a youth intern throughout college. After graduation, I took a youth and children’s position in Covington, TN, where I fell in love with Children’s Ministry. I served as a Children’s Director in Cordova, TN for 9 years before moving to Nacogdoches.

My husband Paul fills our home with laughter. One of the greatest gifts I have ever been given was being able to come alongside him and help raise Conner. Our son just accepted a job in Hawaii. After fostering for a few years, God answered our prayer and grew our family through adoption of our little Birdie Kate. Our empty nest is now overflowing with giggles, silly songs, and chasing around our little whirlwind.
