I was born and raised in Nacogdoches and grew up attending FCC. For many years I thought I was saved, but didn’t understand what it truly meant to have a relationship with Christ. At the age of 14, I came to saving faith, realizing for the first time that I was a sinner in need of a Savior and there was no way I could be good enough on my own. The Lord began to fill me with a love for people I hadn’t had before, and while studying at SFA, I had the opportunity to serve as the church’s youth intern and share the good news with those in the same youth group I had grown up in.
I left Nac after college to coach and teach while pursuing a Master’s degree. During this time, I knew the Lord had called me to ministry, but I wasn’t sure what that would look like for me. Thankfully, God can do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, and in June of 2022, I started working part-time for Compassion International. This allowed me to move back to Nac where God opened another door for me to step into the role of Interim Youth Director before starting as Connections Coordinator in December 2024.
My free time is spent with my wonderful Life Group playing pickleball, watching movies, going to the lake, and playing games.
