Pastor Jefferson Munchinsky

I was raised by believing parents, but it was clear that my heart was sick with sin. With that understanding at a young age, I repented of my sins and put my faith in Jesus and His life, death, and resurrection for forgiveness, salvation, and eternal life! Because the Father loves me (John 16:27), He disciplined me and I continued to grow in my love for Him and my desire to obey Him, no matter the cost. When I was tempted as a teenager to live for myself and give into my pride, the Holy Spirit confronted me. He did not let me sleep until my heart was softened and I tearfully fell to my knees, asking for mercy and grace. I was then baptized in the presence of my church family.

Over the next years, I was discipled by my parents, teachers, and youth pastors. In each season, the Lord increased my endurance and stability (Isaiah 33:5). After graduating from the Master’s University, marrying Alyssa and teaching high school mathematics, Alyssa and I were brought to Nacogdoches. Here, the Holy Spirit gave us the aspiration for youth ministry. Our desire is to build up the church in love and to point the youth to Christ!
